Wedding or Civil Partnerships
You probably have questions!
After completing your legal paperwork, you are free to celebrate your marriage or civil partnership in anyway, anywhere, and however you like without the constraints of a church or registry office.
Where do we start?
The process begins with you sharing your love story, how you met, your dreams for the future and what makes you the perfect couple.
You can incorporate anything that speaks to your heart – music, readings or poems, all of which go into making it very special and completely unique to you. You might also like to include others in your ceremony – children, family, friends, and even family pets have been known to play a part!
How about adding a special element, for example a Celtic Handfasting to give a nod to Scottish ancestry, or Jumping the Broom to seal your wedding vows. Maybe you've considered a unity ceremony with a candle or sand to symbolise the joining of your hopes values and dreams.
Whatever your vision, I will work with you to create a bespoke ceremony as individual as you are.
Remember it's your ceremony, I am here to add the magic and leave you with lasting memories. I'll always be available put your mind at ease so that you can enjoy the process of creating your big day.
After our initial consultation and a face-to-face meeting I will create your personal ceremony script that will reflect everything we discussed. If you'd prefer to answer a questionnaire or meet on video calls and talk by email or a mix of everything, I will work in whatever way is best for you.
What happens next?
Your day has finally arrived!
I will arrive early to make sure everything is in hand (including tissues!). I’ll meet with all the key players in the ceremony to make sure they are comfortable with their part and taking time to walk through a rehearsal.
As you guests arrive, I will greet them and make everyone feel welcome. I can hand out order of service, confetti, or anything else I can do to be of last-minute help!

After your ceremony I will quietly slip away leaving you to celebrate you day with family and friends and leave behind a copy of your bespoke script as a special keepsake of your day.
