Traditionally, a religious ceremony such as a christening was the normal way of celebrating the birth of a child, but for many parents nowadays that doesn’t fit with their values and they want a ceremony that is bespoke to them.
Think of a naming ceremony as a non-religious christening, it has all the elements you'd expect in a traditional christening but more importantly it tells the unique story of your family.

Naming ceremonies or welcome ceremonies aren’t just limited to a new baby. A child can be any age to have a naming ceremony. It may also be stepchild or an adopted child.

After an initial telephone consultation, I will meet with you and get to know you and the circumstances that have led you to want to celebrate this special moment in your life.

How about incorporating rituals, prayers, or readings, music or games, in fact anything you like to make the occasion memorable. I will create a beautiful and unique naming day ceremony for you to share with you loved ones.
